B2 [labtech] at EBN Congress 2026

What if buildings adapted their light to people — not the other way around?

This is the vision that B2 Labtech brought to EBN Congress 2026, one of the most important annual events dedicated to incubators, accelerators, innovation centers and all the key players supporting innovation across Europe.

From 17 to 19 June 2026, more than 300 innovation leaders from 37 countries gathered between Riva del Garda and Rovereto to discuss the main challenges connected to truly human-centered innovation. The central theme of this year’s edition, Human-Centered Innovation, was strongly aligned with B2 Labtech’s mission: developing technologies that place people’s wellbeing at the center of indoor environments.

During the startup pitch session, Luca Benedetti, CEO and co-founder of B2 Labtech, presented the company’s journey and its AI-powered adaptive and circadian lighting solutions.

B2 Labtech’s technology transforms light from a static element into an intelligent infrastructure for wellbeing, energy efficiency and sustainability. The system connects to full-spectrum LED lighting, reads environmental conditions and automatically adjusts light intensity and spectrum throughout the day, following human rhythms and the real context of each space.

The goal is to make offices, schools, hospitals and public spaces more sustainable, measurable and human-centered, while contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

During his pitch, Benedetti also shared the first installations carried out in Northern Italy and the testing activities conducted in collaboration with the University of Trento, which are showing promising results in terms of perceived wellbeing, energy efficiency and environmental impact.

B2 Labtech’s participation in EBN Congress 2026 represents an important opportunity for international visibility and dialogue with European innovation ecosystems, incubators, accelerators and potential partners interested in testing, validating and scaling new solutions for smarter and more human-centered buildings.

Because designing light around people does not only mean improving buildings. It means improving the way people live and work inside them.
